Some of us are employed within a multinational, others work in a small non-profit. The one thing we all share is that we are our own business of one! Like it or not, our future employment depends on our reputation for doing outstanding work or at least noteworthy work.
It all starts with knowing your values, and/or mission, and/or vision. In other words, what are the guiding forces that drive you to do great work? This is honestly the most difficult and soul searching part of the process. The implementation can be a cakewalk in comparison. Once you have defined this, you can then move forward. You message must be consistent and always on-brand.
