Online reputation is upcoming and fairly new trend. Only now big companies realizing importance of social networks and how they can affect them. For small company there is a lot of social listening software which can be utilized to find bad comments online. Then you just have to contact person who posted it and see how you can get rid of it.

Louis that is great advice. It is very important to try and get as much content out there about you. I would warn though to try and not spread yourself to thin as it is not only hard to maintain but can hurt your brand as well. Try to focus on your niche and become a thought leader in it.

Great advise Adrienne.

I think everybody should be pro-active in managing their reputation online. It is important to put out your own content about you in as many channels as possible. If you do this you are less likely to become a victim of cyber-bullying.
