I especially liked your points about reading up on company lit. and learning all you can about the organization. Being the nature of an internship, a lot of interns may find they don't have many difficult tasks to complete and will have a great deal of time on their hands - just reading and absorbing all you can about the job will really put any intern ahead of the game in the future.
