Social media doesn’t only have to be used to promote your own personal brand or develop a business brand. It can be the simplest way to get people involved in an important movement, like breast cancer awareness. With the occasional tweet and status update, you’ll be well on your way to getting the word out on any cause you support.
The first step is understanding the shift to social media. Are you looking to answer the who, what, where, when and why questions? You also want resources that will keep you up to date. I’ve compiled a list of resources I’ve found helpful in developing my knowledge on the subject.
You are probably already active on LinkedIn. You’ve used it to connect with your network. You are using it to monitor who’s doing what. Did you know you can use it to monitor the tweets from people in your network too? Logging into Twitter, Tweetdeck or whatever your program of choice, takes time and you
